OTHER FEATURES
The college houses many paintings, works of art and objects of historical interest collected over the centuries.
In the grounds we have an all-weather tennis court/5-a-side football pitch. Nearby there is a golf course.
The walk to the centre of Salamanca takes about twenty minutes, but there is also an excellent local bus service and taxis to and from the centre are reasonable.
Are meals available in the College?
For parish and pilgrimage groups we offer half board accommodation of bed, breakfast and evening meal (lunch on Sundays).
For those who come on retreat we offer full board.
The meal times: Breakfast 9am (variable), Lunch 2pm, and Supper/Dinner 8.30pm.
We can change the times if necessary to suit the arrival or departure times of guests or to accommodate their outings while here.
Who can use the Royal Scots College?
In principle we are open to any group that respects the aims and objectives of the College. We are also available to individuals or families looking for shorter stays perhaps touring Spain or looking to visit Salamanca and the surrounding area.
When is the College free to accommodate guests?
In theory, the College is free from the beginning of July until the end of October or early November, with the exception of a few weeks in August when the staff get their holidays. The College is not normally available for paying guests during the seminary period, January to June, and in November/December when maintenance work is scheduled.
