USING THE COLLEGE
For almost four hundred years the Royal Scots College in Spain has been receiving men from Scotland, training them to serve as priests and then sending them back to serve in dioceses and parishes the length and breadth of Scotland. Given the present shortage of vocations to the priesthood, the College is now able to widen its scope of activities in the service of the Catholic Church in Scotland. Established as a seminary and recognised by both Canon and Spanish Civil Law, the College will continue to be closely involved in SAY (Seminary Applicants’ Year) and in the training of Scotland’s seminarians, offering opportunities for retreats, courses and conferences.
We would like to take this opportunity of making the College and its facilities better known, sharing with you some of the interesting possibilities on offer including:
- Retreats - for individuals and parishes
- Courses - for formation and spiritual growth
- Conferences - for education and information
- Pilgrimages - for individuals and parishes
