Salamanca in the snow

People in Scotland often think of Spain as a place of constant sunshine and high temperatures. However, away from the “costas”, it can have quite a continental climate – hot in summer, cold in winter.  Since Salamanca sits on a high plateau, it also can have quite a cold climate in winter – as these pictures show!
