Travelling from Madrid

Rev Charles O'Farrell is a priest of the Diocese of Motherwell and comes from Glasgow and has been appointed in order to look after the interests of the College.

Father O'Farrell and all at the Scots College would like offer their congratulations to Bishop Toal on his Ordination and election to the see of the Diocese of Argyll and the Isles and with every blessing for his work as bishop.

How to get here by public transport from Madrid:

There is an express coach every hour from 07.00 until 22.00, run by Autores - Grupo Avanza, leaving from the ESTACION SUR Bus Station. You can take the Metro from the Airport to the Bus Station, changing a NUEVOUS MINISTERIOS and then taking he Circular Line to MENDEZ ALVARO and going upstairs to the Estacion de Autobuses. Buy a ticket bfore getting on the bus. The journey to Salamanca takes two and a half hours. It is advisable to phone the college before leaving Madrid to lewt us know when you will be arriving. The very close to the bus station, so someone will meet you or give you directions to the college.

IF you take a taxi from the Airport to the bus station it will cost about 30 Euros. There is also a train service from Madrid to Salamanca - it is much less frequent than the bus service and when you arrive in Salamanca you will need to take a taxi to the college.
